Getting Started Guide for Creators on Passes

Step 1: Sign Up as a Creator

  • Visit Passes: Go to Passes.com and click "Become Creator"

  • Provide Information: Enter your email, create a password, and fill in any required details.

  • Verify Email: Check your inbox for a verification link to activate your account.

Step 2: Set Up Your Creator Profile

  • Profile Details: Add a profile and banner picture, bio, and links to your social media.

    • When writing your Passes bio, try to be as clear and specific as possible. A strong, authentic bio helps fans know what they’re signing up for, and increases your conversions

  • Privacy Settings: Customize privacy settings to control who can view and interact with your content.

  • Switch or Add Accounts: You can easily manage multiple accounts using the Account Switcher in the navigation bar.

    • To switch accounts: Tap or click your profile avatar, then select the account you want to use.

    • To add another account: Open the account switcher, tap Add Account, and log in with your other credentials.

    • To log out: Open the account switcher and select Logout. On mobile, open the full nav bar using the hamburger menu to see this option.

Step 3: Create and Organize Content

  • Vault: Upload and organize your content (videos, photos, etc.) in the Vault. These are completely private and only visible to you.

    • When you upload to the Vault, fans won’t see anything unless you manually post it to your wall or send it via mass message

  • Post Categories: Set categories for your posts to make it easier for fans to find specific content.

Step 4: Set Up Memberships and Pricing

  • Membership Tiers: Create different membership levels with various benefits and pricing. More on Managing membership here

  • Pricing Strategy: Decide on the cost for posts, direct messages, and other content.

Step 5: Engage with Fans

  • Messages: Communicate directly with fans through the Messages section. Set up auto-messages for both followers and subscribers.

    • Post-launch cadence: Aim for 3–4 posts per week to keep your wall fresh and subscribers happy. Mix free and pay-to-view posts to balance accessibility and value.

    • Messaging: Subscribers can chat with you based on their tier. Followers can message you too. A great opportunity to upsell to a subscription.

    • Social teasing: 48 hours before launch, tease your page on Instagram/TikTok. Use a strong launch post during your peak social hours to maximize visibility and drive traffic

  • Livestreaming: Schedule and set up livestreams to engage with fans in real-time. More on Livestream here

  • Welcome Messages: Set up automated welcome messages for new followers.

Step 6: Manage Your Shop

  • Add Products: List physical or digital items in your Shop for fans to purchase.

  • Order Management: Use the Orders section to track and fulfill customer orders.

Step 7: Monitor Performance

  • Analytics: Use the Analytics section to track engagement and earnings.

  • Adjust Strategies: Refine your content and engagement strategies based on insights.

Step 8: Optimize Earnings

  • Payout Methods: Set up payout methods under the Earnings section for easy and seamless transactions. More on Payout here

  • Referrals: Take advantage of the referral program to earn additional income by inviting other creators.
